background
A group of forward-thinking green-industry leaders decided to get together with other excellent nursery firms west of the Mississippi River during a meeting in 1890, and the WESTERN Nursery and Landscape Association was born. The main focus of the association is the management of an enormous annual meeting and trade show.
challenge
WESTERN approached Aeronet to completely re-think the website system they had been using for several years, and especially to help the association complete it’s evolution into functioning as a virtual office. The new website needed to not only allow members and the public to learn about and sign up for the show, but it needed to become the centralized master database for the organization.
our solution
Aeronet worked very closely with WESTERN staff to create this visually appealing and highly original website layout. At the same time, we created an innovative database system that now drives the website and allows staff to manage all aspects of the membership and the trade show.
results
The development and rollout of this website system and backend database system has enabled WESTERN to achieve it's primary goals - increasing membership and online registration for the annual trade show, while enabling the staff to complete their switch to working as a virtual office.
